‘Law & Order’ Takes on Letterman’s Sexcapades — and ‘The View’

I’m gonna piss some people off here. (Yeah like that’s news)Anyone who watches the likes of Letterman, The View, etc either only gets one channel on TV or they’re as dumb as our current POTUS.  Either way the people who watch this mindless drivel would be better off watching paint dry or grass grow.

Right on target, Basti!  In a combination protest against being forced to go digital and a cost cutting move, MM and I decided to not have cable TV.  We use our set now to just watch our collection of classic movie DVDs and tapes.  (When DVDs first came out, we bought a combination DVD and tape player.)

However, there is a dirty little secret out there for all you people, who are paying boo coo bux for cable access: most of the shows that you like are on your computer via streaming media and with less commercials.  You are already paying for your web access so why pay for cable TV too?

Sometimes you have to wait a few days before they are available but for those of you, who missed the premiere of ABC's new sci fi thriller, V, you can watch each and every full episode as many times as you want Saturdays at abc.com.

Same with Project Runway on the online Lifetime Channel , cooking shows on   Food Network and decorating shows on HGTV.  We're not talking little 10 minute, click-on-next-segment-to-continue-viewing bits like on YouTube either.

HULU.com has complete TV shows, movie trailers and movies availble for free.  We get our news off the web so why not our TV shows too?

Naturally, the BBC refuses to allow non-Brit ISPs the chance to watch their online programming.  Despite promises to the contrary, not even a proxy ISP gets around their firewall.
