Of course, if the father had imported his mate and then they'd set to rape and torture the baby to death, the Social Services (they aren't called the SS for nothing) wouldn't have lifted a finger.

Blaming the parents are they? SO shouldn't they resurrect and prosecute their ancestors since this could well be a heriditary problem?

Good heavens! Does anyone think that that woman would wish her condition on her children??? The morbidly obese suffer real mental anguish in this looks obsessed world!
And furthermore...ever since high fructose corn syrups were introduced as sugar replacements AND artificial sweeteners that confuse the body's metabolism AND growth hormones were given to cattle AND genetically modified foods hit the stores, there has been an epidemic of obesity in our countries. Add the stopping of physical play and outdoor exercise children used to do but now can't for fear of lawsuits or child snatching and you've got overweight as a real problem in even the most carefully self-regulated of homes.
The best way to drop weight is to cut out/restrict the bread, pastas and sugars and up the amount of green, leafy vegetables in your diet. If you keep your nutrition in balance, the carbs and the calories will take care of themselves.
