The change from pure science to political science has invaded college atmospheric science classes. I fear its always been thus. From the time of Aristotle through Di Vinci right up the present day politics has always been the overriding influence with science. In days of yore it could cost your head to go against the current political fashion. Now days you’re just marginalized, maybe lose your tenure, or set up to be a laughingstock if you violate current political thought. And that my friends is why I take with a grain of salt what most ‘experts‘ say about anything. Are they saying it because its true or because they’re saving their asses? __________________ 09/11/01
